About a month ago, I posted this video to my FaceBook account and it got the most positive responses and Likes my wall has ever seen. While the Chicago Cultural Center is an AWESOME institution, I find it funny that her work has to pass through the hierarchy first as a cultural artifact before it can be classified as Fine Art. Every layperson on FaceBook realized immediately how amazing her work is, yet, even in death, she has to build a resume of exhibitions before MOMA and Tate will even begin to consider her work. Personally, I think she might be the best Street Photographer I’ve ever seen. More at
